Good turnout for Milwaukee Kung Fu's first introductory seminar

Fourteen people attended the May 14 first free introductory seminar hosted by the Milwaukee branch Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy recently founded by Sifu Tim Lee, disciple of Grandmaster Anthony Moy Tung. One person so far has signed up for classes, which begin officially on June 1, and several others expressed interest. Another Ving Tsun Kung Fu introductory seminar will be held this Saturday, May 21 from 12pm to 2pm for those that couldn't attend the first one - click that link for details and to register for the event.

Ving Tsun Kung Fu is a simple and efficient martial art, and highly-effective for self-defense. In addition, students develop great health and fitness, confidence and discipline. At these seminars, attendees learn the first section of Siu Nim Tao, which is the first and most important form of the Ving Tsun system. Participants also learn basic training and fighting principles, techniques such as the center punch, chain punch, Pak Sao and Tan Sao blocks, the Pak Sao two-person exercise and more. At these seminars you learn what Ving Tsun Kung Fu training is like, how it's useful for self-defense (what you learn is immediately effective) and what the options are for regular training programs.
