Real Kung Fu for Good People

‘Real Kung Fu for Good People’ was a saying included on a circa 1990 flyer for the Richmond Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy, founded in 1986 by Moy Yat SSA disciple, Grandmaster Moy Tung. This is what the Ving Tsun (wing chun) Kung Fu system, as handed down in the Moy Tung lineage from Grandmaster Moy Yat, literally is. Ving Tsun Kung Fu is good for health and fitness, and for developing fighting skills to be used in self-defense.

Ving Tsun is not for bullies, it’s for people who want to stand up against bullies and protect themselves and loved ones, and serve their communities. Ving Tsun is for people of good character, and training tends to improve character through disciplined hard work and attention to important details.

Prospective students; note that the Richmond Academy phone number is now 804-497-7555. The school is still in Downtown RVA, but the address is 406 E. Main St, Richmond, VA 23219. Click here to book an introductory lesson at the Richmond Moy Yat Kung Fu Academy.

The Moy Tung Kung Fu clan has grown a lot since the Richmond Academy 1986 founding. Today, there are 3 generations of Sifus in the Moy Tung lineage, teaching in more than 20 locations around the US and Europe. Click here to find a MTAA branch school near you.
