Knowing how to use your body and mind to win a fight means you know better how to prevail in any contest of wills. You are better able to stop fights before they start – after some years of training your body language and the look in your eye may be enough to take the fight out of aggressors. You are better prepared to create win-win outcomes for yourself and others in the myriad of challenging situations that life presents.

Being skilled in Ving Tsun Kung Fu means your mind and body are able to work at the highest levels of efficiency. This skill can be applied to any use of the mind and body, such as in your work, or in your hobbies and interests – any game, sport or athletic or mental activity. The control, power, relaxation and awareness you develop in your body and mind will give you an edge in any endeavor.

To reach expert or mastery levels, hard work and humility are required, and this develops good character and more powerful human beings. "Kung Fu" literally means skill through hard work – your time and energy invested in activity. Your kung fu is what you develop with your life.
